Who AM I

I’ve lived here for over 10 years and I am offering my skills to strengthen Upper Hutt as a thriving city, for families, communities and local businesses. 

With decades of service on education, health and industry boards, I’m used to managing large budgets, solving complex problems and making big decisions that influence people’s lives. 

I review evidence, listen to people’s feedback, and balance decisions I make now with what our grandchildren will need in the future.

On Council, I will prioritise improving core services and keeping spending under control. 

I will have a strong focus on community safety in its broadest sense so families can live in and enjoy safe spaces. 

I will work with you to grow local employment, improve transport networks, increase participation in sporting and cultural activities and strengthen how our communities work together for our shared and inclusive future.
